Digital Transformation Analyst

Job description

Up to 3 years fixed term contract (subject to local terms) / full time

Location: The successful candidate may be based in a country where one of the independent National/Regional Greenpeace organisations (NRO’s) is located (subject to agreement). See the locations here. We offer competitive NGO level salary and benefits, the specifics of which depend on location where the successful candidates will be based.

Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation, which uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future.

Greenpeace International (GPI) is seeking a Digital Transformation Analyst to join our newly created Digital Transformation Support Centre (DXSC). The purpose of this dedicated team is to support our National Regional Offices (NROs) in undertaking digital maturity assessments and designing contextual Digital Transformation strategies to guide the use of technology and data that achieves transformational impact over three years.

You will be key to designing and facilitating this process – providing direct, hands-on support for NROs and supporting the Head of Digital Transformation in aligning processes, change management and project delivery, including Digital Maturity Plan development, implementation, and monitoring of KPIs.

In this role you will:

  • Assist NROs in the digital maturity assessment process, including KPI identification and tracking.

  • Facilitate the strategic design process with NROs, building from their digital capabilities assessments to strategic plans, and alignment with global indicators.

  • Serve as a liaison between the NROs and GPI to provide gap analysis between NRO-GPI objectives and requirements – and be a subject matter expert across digital domains, leveraging your knowledge and experience to guide NROs through the implementation process.

  • Support NROs in their maturity assessments and the development of the digital maturity strategy, with particular focus on the development, analysis, evaluation and progress tracking of goals through KPIs or similar.

  • Document case studies, workflows and any relevant learnings useful to the community of practice, improving access to and analysis of information.

  • Facilitate conversations between tech and non-tech teams across the network, building strong internal relationships with internal stakeholders, and external subject matter experts.

  • Enable change management processes in connection to digital transformation in NROs.
