Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation, which uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future.
The unfolding fossil fuel crisis has offered a lifeline to the crumbling fossil fuel industry which is exploiting the crisis for runaway profits from climate chaos and human suffering. If you are a climate enthusiast, looking to bring the fossil fuel order to an end, Greenpeace International (GPI) is looking for a Senior Campaign Strategist to support and steer climate campaigns and projects within our growing global climate program. We currently require support on exciting fossil fuels and/or climate justice campaigns that aim to bring about an end to the fossil fuel industry and co-power impacted communities who fight to bring it to justice.

You will also facilitate knowledge and information sharing, collaboration and best practice sharing between NROs and keep abreast of the latest technical and policy developments, always aiming to ensure that innovation is at the heart of our work.
Your role will be to provide high-level expertise, as well as take the lead in the development of impactful strategies and tactics, creating opportunities for skill and information sharing between our National and Regional Organizations and external allies. Ensuring the team collaborates, shares best practices, lessons learnt and has space to bring innovative ideas to the projects, will be an essential part of your role.
An experienced campaigner and project leader yourself, you won’t hesitate to be hands on in your support of campaigns, as needed.
As one of our Strategists, you will also play a key role in building and nurturing a community of climate practitioners across the global organization.
