Global Finance Intern

  • IFD - Global Finance

Job description

Location: GPI is based in the Netherlands. To comply with Dutch laws and regulations, GPI can only accept candidates that have a Dutch social security number (BSN), or can obtain it at short notice (EU and Swiss nationals could be possible - although this is highly situation-dependent). We encourage applications from candidates from various backgrounds.

Greenpeace International’s Global Finance Team is looking for an intern to join us soon. The team ensures financial transparency, helping GPI make strategic decisions that support our mission. You’ll assist in producing accurate financial reports, analyze financial data to identify trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on global projects. By supporting financial reporting processes, you’ll contribute to the financial health of Greenpeace International while gaining hands-on experience in global finance.

There will be opportunities to work on special projects like the consolidation of financial data from international entities and the preparation of cash flow submissions and budgeting templates. We value interns with initiative, analytical thinking, and a passion for the numbers that drive impactful change.

The internship is a full-time position (40 hours per week) for a period of six months. Ideally, we are looking for an intern to start in early December 2024. Interns receive 800 euros net as a monthly stipend. As of the time of this advert, our office in Amsterdam is open and the internship can be a combination of virtual and in-person from the GPI office.
