Want to become a Greenpeace crew member and help protect our planet?

If you have experience at sea, valid marine qualifications, licenses, or are eager to learn – join us!

The ship’s crew is made up of people from a wide range of backgrounds – ranging from captains, mates, and marine engineers to doctors, cooks and volunteer deckhands. We don't have specific vacancies right now but  are always looking for enthusiastic professionals to crew our ships. We work with people from all over the world and with diverse backgrounds to join us in protecting the Global Commons.

Please note:
- You must hold a passport that is valid for at least another 9 months.
- You must be comfortable sailing on small ships in a multicultural, mixed gender, risk based environment.
- You might be asked to share a cabin during campaigns.

For our paid positions, we are only able to consider applications submitted through our official application form. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications sent via email or post.

Our standard contracts are typically around three months long and include a mixture of exciting campaigns, ocean transits, and scheduled maintenance periods. Even if we cannot offer you an immediate position, we may add you to our prospective crew Talent Pool for future opportunities.
